  • IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
    So, here's how it works:
    1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
    2. Put it on shuffle
    3. Press play
    4. For every question, type the song that's playing
    5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
    6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool..

    And here are my results:

  • There have been six deaths in the past three weeks of people I know, or am related to.

First, my Great Uncle Paul from my mom's dad's side, then in the same week his brother Buddy Bush died.

Then, my Mom Maw's younger sister Thelma Gurley died.

Saturday, we got the news that Sam Spade had been killed in a car wreck.

Finally, my cousin Tyler was killed Sunday night in another car crash.  Our family is really hurt by this.  Especially his little brother Cody.  Please pray for my family and for all the families effected by any of the deaths above.

Police release the name of a man killed in a crash on a local road.

Officers believe the 27-year old Tyler True of Taylor Mill was behind the wheel of a car that went left-of-center on Taylor Mill Road in Independence just before 9-o'clock last night.

True's car slammed into an oncoming SUV.

Police say True was not wearing a seatbelt.

    He died at the scene.

The driver of the SUV... 53-year old Roger Brann of Independence as taken to Saint Elizabeth South hospital for treatment of his injuries.

An accident reconstruction team is still investigating this crash.

  • Hey guys.

This weekend was pretty busy.  Friday, I hung out with my mom maw all day and evening.  It was really good to hear her tell stories about her sister.  I think she feels guilty for not spending as much time with her as she could have.  Next weekend, her, her daughters, and her other sister are all going to Indiana to spend some time together, so that should be really good.

Saturday, I opened for our church band, Servant, at Glen Este Park.  Mom taped a little bit on her camera.  Chris asked me if I could open for them this Wednesday at Big Bone Baptist Church at 6:00pm.

Today, I spent some more time with mom maw, and our dryer got a sponge stuck in it the other day, so for the remainder of the day, mom and i had to figure out how to take apart the dryer then put it back.

    Mission accomplished.
